How to Apply

Currently Accepting Applications for:

July 2024 Issue until June 17th, 2024

Please read our FAQ before applying. All applications should be emailed to Overthetopstories@proton.me with the subject line: 'Contributor Application', a file attachment containing the creative submission, and the following information in the body of the email:

Name and pronouns: ^{(Mostly for correspondence)}

Age:

Type of contribution: ^{(Short story, painting, poem, cosplay, etc.)}

Title of contribution: ^{(For visual media these can be simple i.e. 'Alien with Apple')}

Theme and genre of the work: ^{(Romance? Detective story? Horror?)}

Content warnings:

Brief description of submission:

Additional comments and questions:^{(If you'd like to be our featured cover artist please state that here, A5 page sizes are preferred)}

Applicants can expect a rejection email with an explanation as to why we could not accept their submission, we'll do our best to include suggestions to improve the submission and welcome applicants to submit again if they can make edits.
If accepted, contributors will be asked what name they'd like to be credited by and what websites or social media they'd like included. Accepted contributors will be given the opportunity to submit a 88x31 button for our Neocities button wall under our links.
